The Château de Sceaux was built between 1856 and 1862 and decorated by architect Le Souffaché for the Duke of Trévise.
A photograph dating from 1930, taken prior to the dismantling of the wood panelling, revealed that it had been copied from the décor of the oval salon of the Hôtel de Soubise.

We first carried out extensive archival research in order to produce full-scale drawings of the cornice ornaments and all decorated panels, followed by the creation of a scale model.

The clay and plastiline modelling, as well as the carving of the entire ornamental ensemble, were carried out on site.

Moulds were cast in elastomer, and the decorative elements were produced in staff.
