Founded in Paris in 1905, S.O.E STUC & STAFF was born out of the desire of seven stucco craftsmen from Creuse to share their passion for plaster and exceptional decoration.
Today, our team comprises 50 skilled craftsmen and experts, a 2,000 m² production workshop in Val-d'Oise and an administrative centre in Paris.
Discover the key milestones in our history below:

Creation of the Société Ouvrière d’Entreprise de stuc et ciment métallique (Stucco and Metal Cement Workers' Company) by a group of stucco workers from Creuse at 34 rue Gérard, Paris 13th arrondissement.
The company will start with seven stucco worker partners.
Among them: Léonard Truffy, known as ‘Fricasse’, Auguste Michaud and Auguste Carraud.

Relocation to 283 Rue Lecourbe, Paris 15th arrondissement
The company is diversifying with the development of its suspended ceiling business.

In the midst of war, the company had to amend its articles of association to comply with changes in the law.
It took advantage of this opportunity to change its name and is now called:
Société Ouvrière d’Entreprise, Stuc, Maçonnerie, Staff

The construction of a building on the corner of Rue Lecourbe and Rue Croix-Nivert causes a landslide that damages the S.O.E. workshop on Rue Lecourbe.
Established at 204 Rue de la Croix Nivert.
Where its premises are still located today.

Another change of name – to its current name, S.O.E. STUC & STAFF.

L’entreprise reprend la société PERRON & Cie, spécialisée dans le staff et la décoration.

Acquisition of Claudette ROBIN, a company located next to the company's premises.
Takeover of BLANCH’ART.
The company subsequently changed its name to ATELIERS BLANCH'ART.

Acquisition of a workshop in Montmagny.
I.D.E.A.L, a company specialising in staffing and GRG, joins forces with S.O.E STUC & STAFF.
I.D.E.A.L and Ateliers Blanch’Art are merging to form I.D.E.A.L Blanch’Art, a subsidiary of S.O.E STUC & STAFF.
Extension of the workshop acquired in 1997 with the construction of an adjoining building, bringing the workshop and storage area to approximately 2,000 m².

S.O.E STUC & STAFF acquires Amonit, a company specialising in the development and research of techniques and materials for building restoration and construction.
S.O.E STUC & STAFF acquires the artisanal business of Ateliers Barthe
I.D.E.A.L Blanch’Art is absorbed by S.O.E STUC & STAFF
